| EXPERIENCE |
- All of Dr. Brightman’s work has had a transformational focus. He has transformed managers into leaders, and has led senior teams in creating viable missions and visions for their enterprises.
- He has done this in a practical way as a Senior Vice President for global trade at ASOMA (10 years) where he pioneered his company’s trade with the Peoples’ Republic of China (where from 1972 to 1982, the company conducted more than USD1 billion in two-way trade).
- He worked as a Senior Consultant for Innovation Associates (5 years), the company started by Peter Senge (author of the seminal work on organizational learning The fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization). IA trained corporations around the world in organizational learning.
- Brightman was a Senior Program Associate at the Center for Creative Leadership for more than five years. CCL is consistently ranked as the top practitioner of leadership development work in the country.
- Finally, Brightman was Executive Director of Harvard’s International Marketing Institute (IMI), for nearly 8 years. IMI trained more than 4500 executives from around the world in the art and practice of management, leadership and marketing, His twenty-nine year mix of communication consulting, facilitation, coaching and practical business skills gives Brightman trust, reliability, and credibility during speaking engagements at senior management levels. He has worked in approximately 110 countries doing this important work.
